MONGIL is Netmarble's latest action RPG. The game built in Unreal Engine 5, boasting impressive graphics and fast-paced combat that combines monster collecting with real-time action RPG elements.

Starting from the bright and wide open fantasy land of Belana, follow the adventure as two guild members Cloud and Verna manage increased monster activity. Cloud meets a mystical cat-like creature named Nyanners who has the ability to tame wild monsters and convert them into "Monsterlings" you rode down during an early mission. The three join forces to investigate strange patterns in the behaviour of monsters and environmental factors, slowly leading up to a following threat lying under it all. The story has plenty of emotional impact with Cloud plagued by dreams that foresee a "wound of the world" and sacrifices to be made.

One of its main features is a Triple Tag Team action system that lets players field and control three characters on the same team, swapping between them seamlessly in combat. Striking the bridge between such aesthetically ambitious switching as visual spectacle and strategic necessity, this seamless shifting of characters allows players to unleash enormous "Tag Skills" that intermingle with one another. There are also some gratifying mechanics such as dodge and parry in the combat, that makes fast-paced action more skill-based. With roles of shooter, destruction, assassination and support in the game with each character at present also having elemental assets (fire / ice / wind/ lightning/) Land.

The main draw is its more than 150 all unique monsters to fill your Monster Codex. Nyanners instead utilizes its signature power, which converts diminished monsters into "Monsterlings" — charming charm keychain-like accomplices that augment characters with passive buffs and special effects. These are known as Monsterlings and serve as either gear or accessory slots, offering a rich stream of personalization while players hunt for that optimal mix of traits and perks. Its systems promote exploration and experimentation, rewarding players who take the time to scour every inch of the world.

MONGIL features high fidelity anime styled visuals using Unreal Engine 5. Full English version for principal characters, plus subtitles in French, German, Spanish Italian Russian and Chinese. On a high-end PC or mobile device, the game provides you with console-level feel (though touch controls on cell phone might not give quite as precise control during fast-paced encounters).

One of the main selling factors for this is that it will be available on PC, console and mobile meaning you can play wherever you want. The title is built to be friendly enough for newcomers but deep and strategic enough that veterans can enjoy it, with a more relaxed pacing allowing people to progress the story "on your own terms" without competing against anyone else.

A real-time tag team battle system, monster collection and breeding mechanics all tied together with a heartfelt story make MONGIL look to be every bit as essential for action RPG game players as it is the community that loves collecting critters. A preregistration for the game has also been announced with unique rewards in store such as a 4-star character Francis and other exclusive items.
